Account Supervisor -

We will rely on you, as a dedicated and versatile advertising professional, to be responsible for managing accounts independently, with occasional guidance from senior staff members. You will manage $200,000 or more in revenue as well as supervise a combination of two or more AEs and AAs. Additionally, you will provide total management of client work, be the central person in charge of resource allocation, and have primary responsibility for the quality of services provided. We also will rely on you to be responsible for the profitability of accounts and the completion of project tasks according to project deadlines.

 

Qualifications:

·         Bachelor’s degree in advertising or related field

·         5+ years of experience with integrated advertising and marketing campaigns

·         Have worked on at least 10 different clients or client programs and single-handedly managed major problems with little supervision

·         Exemplary organizational leadership and financial management skills

·         Advanced knowledge of advertising concepts and tactics; experience with and solid knowledge of public health and environmental issues

·         Adept ability to integrate appropriate digital media and public relations into comprehensive campaigns

·         Strong understanding of marketing principles and processes that surpass the fundamentals; regularly apply marketing disciplines in planning

·         Ability to make recommendations based on client’s big picture, with consideration of the role of advertising in the larger environment; take long-term view in addition to meeting immediate needs

·         Ability to supervise people of various abilities

·         Ability to develop strong relationships and gain the respect of other departments; resolve internal problems quickly and productively; work well with outside vendors and subcontractors

·         Experience leading strategic development of client programs

·         Ability to maintain composure and productivity under pressure

·         Experience with energy, health, and technology clients a plus

·         Exemplary, persuasive, concise, and well-organized writing with minimal editing

·         Excellent at editing others’ work

 

 

Responsibilities:

·         Sustain and expand client business over time; manage creative media projects and accounts profitably; prepare and monitor entire program budgets; show concern for overall office profitability

·         Consistently lead account team through methodical, objective-oriented planning process

·         Supervise client service

·         Oversee client presentations

·         Ensure AEs are achieving results for clients

·         Develop complete client confidence with occasional contact; know client organization and industry well

·         Regularly offer extra value to clients

·         Maintain quality control of all products and communications

·         Regularly identify new business prospects; build relationships with tangible prospects

·         Regularly contribute to new business pitches

·         Design and implement effective systems to keep staff informed and streamline efforts; supervise budgeting and billing for clients; use internal staff resources efficiently; plan realistically

·         Participate in performance management with the director of Account Services

·         Consistently make effective, concise, persuasive presentations in all situations and be articulate

·         Participate in at least one ongoing external professional activity of our organization

·         Train and coach others effectively; provide counseling and criticism in a constructive manner that yields positive results

·         Represent EnviroMedia well at all times with clients, prospects, and business community
