PSU Campus Ambassador -
Overview: The Marqeta Student Ambassador Program is an opportunity for students to act as liaisons between Marqeta and their universities. The primary goal of the Student Ambassador Program is to build Marqeta's network of cardholders amongst the campus crowd and drive student registration. We'll give you the tools you need with this paid program to get Marqeta cards into students' hands and speak authoritatively to merchants, all while planning a Marqeta-sponsored event on campus.
The Marqeta ambassador will be a part of the Business Development and the Marketing teams.
Responsibilities:
• Become subject-matter experts about Marqeta products and programs
• Plan and host fun Marqeta-sponsored event on campus
• Act as a campus contact for Marqeta teams
• Conduct outreach to local Portland businesses
• Help kick-start the Marqeta movement on campus
• Help Marqeta better understand your university's culture
Qualifications
• Currently enrolled at the targeted school.
• Motivated and willing to meet and exceed goals set out by the Business Development and Marketing teams
• Enthusiastic and positive attitude
• Good work ethic to perform assigned tasks
• Ability to start conversations with students and merchants
• Good communication skills (oral and written)
• Experience of/or willingness to make presentations
• Time management, reliability and commitment
• Ability to manage several concurrent goals
